Barcode truncated by Crystal Reports UFL

Many situations can cause the resulting barcode to be truncated in Crystal Reports when using the Barcode UFL as shown below:

Solution(s):

NOTE: IDAutomation now offers Crystal Font Formulas in the latest release of all font packages, which embed directly into the report. The formulas solve UFL related issues because the UFL is not required when they are used.

Old Solutions:

When using IDAutomation’s Crystal Reports UFL with a linear barcode font, truncation occurs or spaces appear in the barcode. The Crystal Reports version that had this issue was v.8.0.0.371. The version that solved this issue was v.8.0.0.441. Install the latest version of Crystal Reports to solve this issue.

If it appears the font may be truncated, increase the height and width of the field the font is displayed in so there is extra white space before and after the font.
